Mississippi Forestry Commission Conference Table
When the Mississippi Forestry Commission opened their new headquarters in Pearl, Mississippi, they reached out to me to create an iconic conference table that would reflect their mission. The result was a massive live edge table featuring four species native to Mississippi.
The top is constructed from four slabs, two red oak and two pecan, and features a inset power outs and a poplar inlay of the agency’s badge.
The base is made from four custom fabricated steel legs connected by a 100 year old cypress beam removed from a cabin that was dismantled in Mississippi.
